Ty turned 3!

Ty turned three years old on 11-11-12!  He had a party at a local center called "PLAY".  The kids had fun on the trampoline, slides, bounce houses and centers before having pizza and cake in the party room.  Ty also was able to place his painted hand print on the wall of "PLAY" to remind of us his party forever!

Giraffe Poo

Since I was an infant, my favorite animal has been the giraffe.  I have several stuffed animals that are giraffes and of course my favorite is “Giraffe-Poo” who has been with me all of my life.  For a time I simply called him “Giraffe” but at some point, and nobody really knows why, I started calling him Giraffe-Poo and that is still his name today.  When I was a baby I used to put him on my face when I went to sleep.  When I scrap my knee he is there to console me.  When I am tired I like to cuddle with him.  When I eat…well, Giraffe-Poo eats with me which means that sometimes he gets some pizza or spaghetti sauce on him.  So desperate not to lose him Mommy actually purchased another one on Ebay for an amount of money that did not make Daddy happy.  The problem is that there is only one Giraffe-Poo for me and even when he is in the wash “New Giraffe” is usually not a suitable replacement.  I can tell the difference between the two so it is very important that I not to lose Giraffe-Poo.  There are times when he goes missing and we have had a couple of close calls in stores but thus far we have kept him alive and well.  When he does go missing I sometimes think Mommy would have preferred to lose her purse because the contents of which would be easier to replace….and she would not have to deal with my sadness.  Even now when we go to the store Daddy tries to talk me into leaving him in the car so that he can take a nap.  I know he doesn’t need a nap but sometimes I acquiesce which puts everyone at ease for the time that we are in the store.      

When Mommy takes Holly and I to the zoo my favorite part is looking at the giraffes.  They get to be about 20 feet tall and are not the most graceful or cuddly of animals but I love to watch them.  I think I will always love these animals….just like I love my Giraffe-Poo.
