Uh-Oh!

I learned a new phrase within the past week – “uh-oh”. I use it in proper context as when I drop something, I say “uh-oh” or if there is any other sort of mishap around the house, I am quick with an uh-oh. This phrase came in handy over the weekend as we had a couple of incidents.

A couple of days ago Mommy and I were driving back from the store and I was holding my favorite stuffed animal – a Care Bear. I love my Care Bear and you can see us together in the pictures. As we were driving home I began to shout “uh-oh, uh-oh, uh-oh”. Mommy looked back and noticed that I didn’t have my bear anymore. This is not uncommon as I routinely throw things on the floor of the car. The problem was, I wasn’t looking at the floor; I was looking at the window and saying uh-oh. Yes, you guessed it – my bear jumped out of the window. Mommy turned the car around and luckily we found my bear in the middle of the road. We have been reunited…for the time-being anyway.

The other pictures you see are of my bed in several pieces. No, the bed didn’t break from me being too fat. I know what you are thinking – the fat kid finally ate too much and broke her bed. No, it's not true; I didn’t break my bed – I fell out of it. I woke up from my nap and as I always do, I stood up and leaned over the edge. Well, apparently I leaned too far and I landed on the floor. Daddy said that the thud was unmistakable and he hurried up the stairs to find me standing in the middle of the room crying. Fortunately, I did not hurt myself but I was a little frightened. Anyway, later that day Mommy and Daddy moved my bed to the lowest setting so it will be a lot tougher for me to get out again. You can see me helping with the repairs in the pictures.
PS - in one of the pictures you can see the headboard of the bed with all of the stickers containing warnings and disclaimers. Kind of ironic wouldn't you say?
