This is my friend Kaylee from ballet class. This was our ballet Christmas party. Yes, the same day as my pre-school party. It was a busy one. |

Christmas morning! I had to help Ty open his gifts too. This is the hard part about being a big sister. |
We kicked-off Christmas time with our annual trip to have our pictures taken with Santa at Phipps. I have done this four times now and Ty has been to see Santa twice. Shortly after we were placed on his lap, Ty quickly melted down which was fine with me because I was able to focus Santa’s attention on what I wanted for Christmas. There were two major items on my list this year. First, I wanted a unicorn pillow-pet, a creation that no child should be without. Next, I wanted a bicycle. After my 60-second stint with Santa I bid him farewell and went home to help Mommy and Daddy decorate the house. This year we also went to the Pink Pig at Lenox Mall. The Pink Pig is a Christmas train ride that is a long standing tradition in Atlanta and this was the first year we participated.
This year we had one main Christmas tree downstairs and a little Christmas tree in my room. My tree has beautiful lights of assorted color and makes my room look very pretty at night. Downstairs our tree had beautiful white lights. Outside, once again we decorated the bushes and one large tree with LED colored lights.
As Christmas approached that meant my family also came to visit. Grammy and Papa Ray came as did Uncle Troy. We had a wonderful time with everyone. One day we went to the World of Coca-Cola; another day Daddy, Papa Ray, Poppy, and Uncle Troy and Travis went to a hockey game; and throughout the entire week all we did was eat and eat and eat.
We had Christmas Eve dinner at our house as we have done for a few years now. Before I went to bed I spread the magic reindeer food we made at school on our walkway and left some chocolate cookies on the table so that Santa could maintain his energy on his way to other houses. On Christmas morning I was very excited. I jumped out of bed and ran to see what Santa brought me. As soon as I stepped out of my bedroom I could see my beautiful new bicycle. After unwrapping a few presents I also found the unicorn pillow-pet. What a wonderful Christmas! Santa ate the chocolate cookies I had left for him and his reindeer ate all of the food I left outside. As we were opening our presents it began to snow and the snow continued all day. We only received a couple of inches but it definitely was a white Christmas here in Georgia.
Grammy, Papa Ray, and Uncle Troy left a couple of days ago and we have been spending the last couple of days taking down the Christmas decorations. Another Christmas has passed. Now we get to focus on my birthday next week.
